This book was one of the essential textbooks for my BSc Economics and Management course. It relates well to key modules such as microeconomics and macroeconomics but can also be applied to many other modules such as financial accounting and operations management. I have a slightly older version of the book but the majority of the content is very similar if not exactly the same. I found that although this book is called the essentials of economics, it actually covers a wide range of topics which may not give you an in depth knowledge of everything but gives you a more well rounded knowledge of the subject as a whole.
