 ... be delivered to my workplace... The book is 96 pages long, and the pages are basically double spreads (sorry for the pun) of animals, well, getting jiggy really. Each pair (or occasionally three(!)) of the animals are given a caption - some are quite amusing, some are a bit more along the 'cheesy greetings card' line. Most of the animals are of the zoo variety, and there are repeats of some animals (though I suppose it's the captions that make the humour?). I have to say that when I entered dooyoo's competition to win a book from New Holland Publishers, this wasn't the kind of subject matter that sprang to mind! I've been ordering lots of Christmas presents recently, so I was bemused when it arrived and I opened it, my first thought being 'I didn't order this?!' I didn't spend too much time looking at the front cover; if I had I might have noticed the tagline 'Horny Rhinos and Humping Camels', and approached with a little more caution. As it was, I flicked randomly to the middle to be confronted with a full-size glossy photo of two lions in a somewhat...compromising (ahem) position, shall we say.
