I used this book when I was studying children's development and found it very good anything I needed to know about development stages I could find in here it goes right through from a newborn to a child of 5 years old.It is set out very clearly and is easy to read and follow. All development is in bullet points and each one is put under a heading of physical, social, behaviour, communication and language. The book also has small black and white illustrations of the children in the next section of it it has how to assess children and tells you how to recognise when something is normal and when the child is delayed I don't use this part very often because I feel this changes  Read the complete review
