Conventional wisdom tells us that it's a hard life being a dog and on the evidence of Bad Dog's Diary that's true. It's written from the perspective of Blake, a mongrel seeking decent food (not that muck that comes in tins), the expansion of his pack and his territory in the park and a single owner that is devoted to him and not sidetracked by females. The Owner, on the other hand, keeps getting everything wrong: taking Blake to obedience classes, seeking to form meaningful relationships with clearly unsuitable females who don't understand Blake and generally stopping Blake from doing all the things he loves.
