The Greatest Salesman in the world have been my motivation book since the 90s. The book have help me when I feel lost and it have also motivate me.

The title of this book may lead some to think that it is only for salesperson. It is not.

The Greatest Salesman in the World was written by Og Mandino, it was first published in 1968. This classic guide to a philosophy of life.

This book tells the story during the biblical times, about a poor camel boy called Hafid setting out to seek his fortune. Hafid wanted to work as a salesman for his employer and make enough money to marry his love, lisha.

One day, after months of unsuccessful attempts, Hafid was led by a star towards a manger. There, he gave up his only possession, a cloak to keep the baby in the manger warm. Touched by his kindness and the sign of the star, his employer bequeath his treasure, in the form of ten scrolls to Hafid.

      The ten scrolls are
      I will form good habits
I will greet this day with love in my heart
I will persist until I succeed.
      I am nature's greatest miracle
I will live this day as if it is my last
Today I will be master of my emotions
I will laugh at the world
Today I will multiply my value a hundredfold
      I will act now
Today I will pray for guidance.

My favourite is I will greet this day with love in my heart

'For this is the greatest secret of success in all ventures. Muscle can split and even destroy life but only the unseen power of love can open the hearts of men and until I master this art I will remain no more than a peddler in the market place. I will make love my greatest weapon and none on whom I call can defend against its force.

If I have no other qualities than I can succeed with love alone. Without it I will fail though I possess all the knowledge and skills of the world.'

The ten scrolls have help Hafid achieved his abundance and maintain his humility.

The book have a christianity undertone, it is a parable about creating and staying positive.
