      A brilliant read

I have recently had to read this book as part of my university work, studying early childhood studies i found the book very useful. I would put this book above any other study skills book and it has helped me personally and i found the book was a 'friendly' read, easy to understand the key points and layout of the book as a whole.
The book offers support for those who want to improve or know how to overcome certain study skills, including developing confidence, referencing, selective reading and so on.
I would definitely without a doubt recommend this book to anyone wanting to find answers to the questions they may have regarding study skills and teaching.
Another useful book is 'Teaching study skills and supporting learning' also written by Stella Cottrell.
if you want to improve your study skills this book is 100 per cent what you are looking for.
