This disco ball is great for parties and is sure to bring a lot of attraction to it!
It lights up farily bright and looks good when its dark!
This is a good product to buy, because most of the time, you look in places and they are trying to charge you over £100 for flashing lights for parties! This is a good enough product to use and will create an effect just as good!
They may not last as long, as it is only plastic, but its still good and fun to use!
Also, because of the different coloured plastic bits on them, it lights up different colours which creates a good effect.
Overall I would recommend this product. It is great for children's parties and its a good thing to buy your children so they can have it in there room. It is cheap to buy, and you dont need the most expensive thing to still get a good result.
~ Overview ~
Im afraid I had to do this review as I used to have one of these, I specifically used this for those romantic nights in with the girlfriend and a really cheesy song in the background, and it did the job well.
As a young teenager growing up I loved all types of music and thought that buying one of these would make my room look ace along with some decent music and would impress friends (sadly I don't think it had that impression). Great for parties though!
~ Design ~
The design is everything you would expect from a disco ball, lots of circular coloured plastic shapes fitted into a globe which fits on top of a light bulb. Then there is a motor which rotates the ball round, giving you that disco feeling. You also have an adapter which plugs into the disco ball and no batteries are required as it just requires a mains supply.
If you use this outside it will terrify people as it does look like a UFO when it spins round, so if you want to avoid the men in black use it inside.
~ Price and Shop ~
When I bought my disco ball when I was younger I bought it from Argos for around £15 at the time and used to be in black unlike this one which is grey but after doing a bit of research, I found this disco ball for £9.95 on Amazon with a £3.91 postage fee. I do think that the postage costs are a little expensive but then again it is a large item and should be expected.
~ In my opinion... ~
In my opinion this is a truly funky machine which enables the average nerd to dance like a funky chicken and believe that they are cool. This item is great for kid's birthday parties and along with a few party songs will get the place jumpin!
The price is cheap; the quality is excellent and is a very safe product. The only negative if there is one is that it makes a slight noise when it rotates but it doesn't matter if you play some tunes.
I don't think this product would be good enough for large events such as weddings and funerals but it might do the job for small parties and romantic nights in with your partner.
~ Ratings ~
I am so pleased that so many products like this has hit the shelf's you can buy them anywhere now and i bought mine from Argos.
It is good that products like this are made for a cheaper budget as it can help with people who need sensory stimulation.
My son has special needs and a slight visual impairment and products like this really help him.
When i turn his disco ball on he relaxes and enjoys looking at the room when it is lit up in all different colours.
Some stores that offer products for people with special needs i feel rip them off as many items are over priced one of these disco lights from a special sensory brochure would be at least 100 pound.
Ok so the little plastic disco lights might not last as long but there defiantly worth what you pay for it.
I bought mine for 10pounds which is really good.
You can get disco lights in all different sizes and disco lights are not only good for parties they are good for stimulating children's sensory skills.
