A great fun, adorable little monkey. Has a great range of stuff and is so much fun!

Dave the Funky Shoulder Monkey is an adorable little cuddly monkey that is great for kids and adults alike. I bought one for my son for Christmas after he mentioned it one day.
I looked online for reviews and videos and found a few on you tube and he looked really good.

You get Dave, a remote and a shoulder strap. He has a solid flat bottom which allows him to sit nicely on your shoulder or even on a shelf etc.

He isn't very big, he is about 20cms. But he is very cute.

He has a fab little personality and does a lot of different actions. He moves his head and arms and makes cute little monkey noises. He has 33 different actions to choose from which are activated by the use of the little remote control.
With so many different combinations to use, Dave can have a different personality every time you use him.

It comes with instructions for the actions he does and what buttons are to be pressed on the remote.
The remote is wireless which makes playing with Dave all the more fun. Hide the remote in your pocket and secretly press it, Dave will come to life all by himself!

My son adores him and treats him like a little pet. He sleeps on his bedside table every night with a little blanket and he takes him everywhere (except school).

The remote has five buttons. A large round one with 4 different settings numbered 1 - 4. A Conversation Mode button shaped like a little speech bubble, a Puppet Mode button shaped like a little monkey, a Greeting Mode button shaped like a little hand and an Action Mode button shaped like a spikey bubble with an exclamation mark inside.
You choose a mode then move onto the circle button where you need to choose a number.
Different actions are performed with each number.

It's quite easy and simple for an adult to remember the combinations but a child would have to learn them more to remember. The simple ones are easy enough though and my son got the hang of these on Christmas day (he is 7 years old).

Dave costs around £15 and under and can be bought in Argos, and other online retailers.

Dave does a manner of different things which include, burping, laughing, farting.... very pleasant!!!
      He waves, scratches and cries.
There's a lot more that he does too!

He seems quite durable and hasn't fallen apart even after 3 months of constant use.

A great toy for young and old from approx 7 up

We bought Dave the Monkey for my daughter for Christmas. We purchased him from Hawkins Bazaar at £25 but he is available all over the place and have since seen him at a much reduced price.

My daughter is 8 and loves all the furreal type toys so thought this would be perfect for her. Dave is a monkey that comes with a wireless remote control. The remote can be used to make him do all sorts of actions and different behaviours.

        There are four different modes:
        conversation
        greeting
        puppet
        action

within each of these modes are a number of behaviours that can be activated. There are over 30 different behaviours altogether. These include waving, high five, yawning, burping, blowing raspberries, dancing and the basic movements looking left, right, down etc.

My daughter typically likes the rude behaviours best and her and her friends can often be found giggling and getting Dave to fart and burp.

Dave comes with a shoulder strap to enable you to put him on your shoulder so that you can have him hands free. We found the instructions quite difficult to understand and once we got it right he didn't really fit on my daughters shoulder properly. I wonder if the strap is designed for an adult body.

I would recommend Dave for children from about age 7 upwards. He is a lot of fun and it is especially good if you can spend some time working out a routine with him to show others.
