“ Manufacturer: Fisher Price / Type: Keychain „
I'm sure everyone has heard of Fisher Price, who produces toys for infants and children. In the 1960's Fisher Price introduced a line called Play Family which was later known as Little People, which overtook the popularity of older toys. Since the 1930's Fisher Price has created approximately 5,000 different toys, one of their best selling lines which is Little People which includes play-sets such a farms, houses, garages and more. With these play-set's you could also buy people and animals too which were originally made from wood but then later changed to moulded plastic.
There are 3 keyrings to choose from and each one cost's £4.99 which can be bought from Hawkins Bazaar. There is also a list of retailers on www.basicfun.com who may also stock these products as well.
These mini keyrings are working miniature replicas of some of the classic children's toy's made by Fisher Price. The keyrings come in a cardboard style backing packaging and the keyring is then sealed onto the card with plastic so you can see the keyring. On each keyring there is a small red tag attached which says Basic Fun which is the company whom make the keyrings. They have a website which is www.basicfun.com
The keyrings are available in the following designs:
* Rock-A-Stack - This includes coloured rings in different sizes which have to be placed onto the pole in correct size order.
* Corn Popper - This is a push along toy, in which coloured balls strike the inside plastic dome when the toy is pushed along.
* Melody Push Chime - This is a push along toy which plays music as you roll the melody chime along.
I haven't actually opened the packaging to the keyrings yet as I have been told they are highly collectable and I feel they may lose value if they are taken out of their original packaging, so for now they are all still sealed.
On the packaging it says that the items do really work, however I can't really comment on this because I haven't taken mine out of the packaging. The keyrings themselves look great and are exact replicas of the bigger versions which are/were available to buy. They have gone into great details in creating these keyrings and I think they are a great addition to anyone's set of keys and will bring back good childhood memories. Although these cost £4.99 I think they are well worth the price whether you just want to add them to part of a collection or pop them on the keys they are fun.
