      Fun Flying Pig!

I was given the Flying Pig as a gift for my birthday and I have to say that it has definitely become one of my favourite decorations to be in my room. With a super cute look to it and the fact that it adds a bit of quirky to a room, the Flying Pig can't go wrong.

The Flying Pig can be bought for £6.99 on Amazon, which is a great price for it or right now it can be bought from Hawkins Bazaar website for £5 on sale (£10 usually). The packaging it comes in is very sturdy, and I could imagine if it was being delivered to someone there wouldnt be any problems with breaking if it was jostled about.

The main aspect of the toy is that you attach it to the ceiling and then, powered by batteries, the pig will go round and round in circles from the wire attached to it and flap it's wings round. It's really cute watching it do this and I think it would make a cute mobile for a child, although I wouldn't put it over the bed as even though it hasn't happened to mine, I'd be worried about it falling still.

The pig is 14cm long and really does have wings that move up and down. The wire provided is just the right length, however I have recently had the problem of having a cat try and jump at it repeatedly after becoming obsessed with catching it. The back of the box says you should allow 2 metres around the pig, so this probably wouldn't be suited best in a small room.

It is a well made decoration for any room, aside from being a bit delicate as you have to take care of the paper wings attached to the back of it. I've had it for a couple of months now and haven't experienced any problems with it breaking or malfunctioning, and it's been used quite a bit now. It has to be attached to a ceiling by screws, however these are provided and they give simple instructions about how to attach it on the back of the box.

To work properly, it requires 2 AA batteries which are not provided in the box. I found that the pig works for a couple of hours on just 1 AA battery though, and as I never have it on for that long it's hard to estimate an exact time.

Overall, I'd say this is a really cute decoration for any room in a house and definitely a great gift for anyone who loves cute things or just pigs in general. It's well made with a simple idea that's bound to entertain.
