Candyfloss at home, wow how cool is that I thought at the age of 28 (with no children)!! So I ordered my Prima candyfloss maker priced £34.99 and waited 14 days for delivery. It arrived on a Saturday and that evening we had some friends coming over for dinner, so I thought it would be nice to make some candyfloss later for everyone. The machine itself is a table top amounted device with a large round bowl around 15’’ across that sits on top of the heater unit. It has four feet that suck on to your kitchen counters to keep it still, and looks very nice in yellow and white. It needs 5 minutes to warm up before use and once started makes a huge ... The first of this years novelty must have toy opinions is the 30 second candy floss maker..... The Candy Floss Maker This machine comes in a choice of 2 colours blue or pink and both have a twisty yellow pattern on them. The actual machine is around 12 inches in height and consists of a thick handle, which holds the rechargeable battery, and a large round bowl type top with a clear removable lid. I guess the first plus point here is that it is a rechargeable battery and it does come complete with an adapter, so no costly battery changes needed here. You simply remove the battery from the base of the handle and ... Read the complete review

Whenever you think of Fairs you think of Candy floss. However, now you don?t have to wait for your local fair to buy some Candy floss as you can buy a machine which makes Candy floss within minutes. It?s so easy and the taste is delicious, just like the Candy floss from the fair. It?s very simple to use, so kids can actually participate in making their own Candy. All you have to do is simply put some White sugar into the machine, shut the lid, press the button and watch the Candy floss be made. Within 40 seconds or so you can have a small amount of candy floss. Although, there?s only enough for a small handful it?s enough to satisfy because you ... Read the complete review

I walked into Smyths toy store (Irelands version of Toys-R-Us) and spotted a hand held candyfloss machine. Needless to say with my childishness I jumped at the chance to spend my extremely low student budget on this less than essential item! (€27.99). What happened next? Well me being me I got another one, a BIGGER one from mum! This one was a Prima Candyfloss maker. It looked a lot more like the real thing you get at fun fairs, I was so excited we ran to the local garage shop to buy our caster sugar. The sugar has to be thin for it to work properly. We went (ran) into mums hotel room and un-packed the machine. Inside the ... Read the complete review

First - I registered at Dooyoo to write this review, I've been Dooyoo reader for years without feeling the need to register before. I felt really compelled to write this review to warn you, since this toy got several awards, but my experience using it has been absolute rubbish. Short advice - if you still to buy this, make sure that the store that sell it has unconditional money-back guarantee. The review: This machine sometimes won't produce any candy floss AT ALL if you use it wrong. First, you need to spin it twice (2x30 seconds) at LEAST,to heat up the elements in the center. Second, if you clean it, you need to make ... Read the complete review
