Moshi Monsters Golden Collection Moshling Tin Series 2

Advantages: Cute figurines, last ages, good strong tin

Disadvantages: None

Moshi Monsters have become the craze in primary schools it seems, with my sister forever playing with all the toys she's collected from this brand. The latest to her collection is the Moshi Monsters Gold Tin - Series 2, which contains loads of tiny little figurines in the shape of the monsters. These tins can be bought from most places, ours was from Asda for around £7 but they must be available on both Amazon and in shops like Toys R Us.

The tin they come in is really sturdy and coloured in gold with the Moshi Monsters logo and moshi monster Oddie on the front. I think it's quite handy for a Moshi Moshlings fan as it does have quite a lot of space aside from the 8 monsters and my sister uses it to store some of her other un-gold moshlings. She takes it to school and it has been able to survive in a school bag for quite a while without becoming destroyed, so it is a good tin to have as a storage option.

The moshlings that come in the tin are not colourful like the ones on the website, but instead they are all covered in gold to probably show that they are the ultra rare moshlings in the game. For the whole tin, you will get 8 moshlings and all of them are individual with their own looks and you never get the same moshling twice in the tin. Whatever tin you get, the moshlings will all be the same, so you don't have to buy loads of tins to get specific ones.

The moshlings in the tins are:
-Fifi - a poodle
-Rocky - a rock monster based on Stonehenge
-Jeepers - a tiger
-Sookiyaki - a ninja cat
-Honey- a cute looking rabbit
-Oddie - a dougnut
-Mini Ben - a monster version of Big Ben
-ShiShi - a panda

Aside from the hard copies of the moshlings themselves, there is also a collectors file, which shows the pictures of the moshlings along with their names. I don't think this is really what kids are interested in the tin itself, as while my sister has kept it, I've never seen her looking at it.

Overall, this is a good tin for a Moshi Monsters fan and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a gift for birthdays or Christmas.

Summary: Great for Moshi Monsters fans
