      Advantages

      Disadvantages

      One for the girls.

-What is Fairy Magic Fizz N Suprise?-

Fairy Magic Fizz N Suprise is basically a dissolvable heart shaped fairy fizz with a little fairy toy inside.

The hearts (which don't actually look much like hearts to me) come in all different colours and there are 12 different fairies to collect.

Each fairy has a different name and all of them are in different groups according to how rare they are - common, rare and ultra rare. All of the fairies have glittery wings. Common fairies have blue wings, rare fairies have pink wings and ultra rare fairies have purple wings.

The fairies wings can also be removed and swapped with other fairies.

Of course you don't actually have to collect them and I'm sure most children will be more than happy to have just one or two...

Fairy Magic Fizz N Suprise is packaged in bright eyecatching packaging with a couple of pretty fairies on the front. The heart sits inside transparent plastic (so you can see what you're getting) and is backed by cardboard. On the back is a list (with pictures) of all the fairies and their names, along with how rare they are.

They cannot be used in the bath (due to the presence of citric acid and malic acid) and the age recommendation is 4+ years (possible choking hazard).

      -Our experience of Fairy Magic-

My daughter spotted Fairy Magic Fizz N Suprise in The Entertainer and knew what it was right away as we have previously purchased Mermaid Magic Fizz N Suprise.

My daughter had enjoyed her Mermaid Magic Fizz N Suprise so much that I decided to get the fairy version for her. She chose a yellow one.

We had used our Mermaid Magic in the sink but decided to use our Fairy Magic in the bath.

The bath was quite full and my daughter dropped it into the water. It dropped to the bottom and instantly started to fizz. We were then both quite suprised when it floated to the top of the water and started whizzing around the bath (which the Mermaid Magic didn't do in the sink) - my daughter was convinced it was the magic of fairies! It made a hissing sound and bubbled in the water for a lot longer than I expected - about a minute I'd say. It didn't smell and didn't appear to change the colour of the water. The heart didn't leave any mess and went straight down the plug hole without any fuss when we had finished with it.

When it had finished fizzing my daughter stuck her hand into the water and was thrilled to find a little fairy sitting on the bottom of the bath. The fairy was about an inch tall and was very cute, with red hair and blue glittery wings.

Our fairy is a common fairy and her name is Dance Party (strange name, I agree).

My daughter soon realised she could remove the wings, although until we get more fairies there isn't much use for this.

      -My overall thoughts-

Well the main thing is that my daughter loved this toy and if she could write a review I'm sure she would give it 5 stars!

The thought of creating and discovering fairies is always going to be a hit was little girls.

One thing that I would change is the coloured paper on the heart, as it seems quite hard for children to take off for themselves. Dissolvable paper or a coloured fizzer would have probably been a better idea?

I should point out that the hearts are quite small (about 4 inches by 4 inches) and the fairies are even smaller so don't be too disappointed if you order online. But they do say that good things come in small packages...

I would say that girls under 5 years would really enjoy this toy but wouldn't feel the need to collect them all as the excitement of the fizz and the suprise at the end would probably be enough for them.

The problem with collecting is that you don't know which fairy you are going to get and you are extremley likely to get lots of duplicates before you can collect the whole set.

      -Price and availability-

We brought our Fairy Magic Fizz N Suprise in The Entertainer for a reasonable £3.00.

I haven't yet seen these anywhere else, except for a few online stores.

Prices vary, although I would seek out the lowest price because as I've already mentioned they are very small and they are also collectable, so it could work out a fortune if your little one decides to collect them all!

      -Other Magic Fizz N Suprises-

The Fairy Magic and Mermaid Magic Fizz N Suprises are certainly one for the girls, but there are also Alien Magic, Dinosaur Magic and Dragon Magic Fizz N Suprises available.
