We have a few of these stick on glow in the dark room decorations, currently the moon, the sun, and one planet, but expect to collect the rest of the planets. I am however only reviewing one because the same facts will apply to all of them except for the basic shape and colouring. i will note though, that I have found some colours do produce more light then others, especially the whites and light greenish hues. This is a very detailed, 3 -d puffy sticker of the moon. As I am too lazy to get a step ladder and try to measure this , I will go with the product description which says 13 cm and sounds about right. This does look very nice with the lights on, and even nicer in the dark when it produces a pretty good amount of glow. In fact this did light up far more than the sun, until the sun was taped over the light fixture, which means it gets more charging up. Obviously, the more light this is exposed to before bedtime, the better it will glow. The glowing effect will not last all night. i would say an hour or two at the most, but this is sufficient to have something nice to look while falling asleep, and my son really loves these. The downside to these stickers is that the glue on them is absolutely useless. When we first put this up, it fell down again in minutes, and continued to fall down every time we put it back up. This held true for the other stickers as well, so it must be design fault. also, because only the thin rim of the design is meant to touch the wall or ceiling where this is displayed, it is rather difficult to attach them securely. Ours are currently held in place with blue tack, but this does show just a bit around the edges, and they do still fall down occasionally. Another downside to these is that there is no difference in size between the sun and the moon or planets, although of course to get anywhere near proper scale would require an absolutely massive sun, and little tiny planets. These stickers are available in a number of shapes, including all the planets, the sun and the moon, but you can also get cute puffy stars and planets with smiley faces, and even Disney designs and Hello Kitty if you wish. I have deducted one star for the problem with attaching these to the walls, but overall, I do still like them. I think they are a nice educational item for my son to collect, and he absolutely adores them. I have no hesitation in recommending them, but only as long as you are prepared to get creative with ways to keep them in place.
