Tobar clockwork butterfly.
I bought this clockwork butterfly for my husband for novelty Christmas stocking filler. He has a great interest in butterfly conservation and I thought this amusing and the grandchildren would play with it after he had wound it up a few times and dismissed it.
This butterfly is only small it is made from plastic. A cute looking butterfly not a copy of a real butterfly.
This butterfly is 5 cm long. It has a heads with eyes and a cheeky grin also has two short plastic antennae. It has a body which sprouts 2 wings looks like 4 the way it's patterned. These will flap up and down. . On the underside of the body there are 2 wheels and a small wind up button. When wound up the wings flap up and down and the wheels turn butterfly will race across the table (or floor)
These butterflies are cute. They come in a few different colours red, yellow green and blue. The wings are dual coloured.
These butterflies are a novelty present for over 3 year olds.
Although ours is by hubby's computer desk and has been for a year or two I don't think this butterfly would last very long if played with.
You may see these in a novelty shop in a tray with 24 butterflies in. The RRP per butterfly £1. 75. If you go to Amazon Toyday are distributing these for £1.50 each. http://www.partydelights.co.uk has them for £1.49
Summary: A chockwork butterfly
