Last Christams gone the office at work was looking a bit drab and the ladies were sticking up our tired old Christmas tree and home made decorations but it was clear there was something lacking. I am not in the office that much and tend to spend a lot of the day out in the car looking down holes, but to cheer everyone up I bought several sets of Lagoon Group USB Fairly Lights.
I bought them from Amazon at a reduced price of £6 for a four foot long strip of bright blue plastic sparkling fairly lights. Each four foot strip has a total of twelve little lights and the idea for using these is very simple and very easy.
The office is very small so I only needed to buy four sets for each computer and we just plugged them into the USB port and then draped them round the PC's and the overall look was very classy and charming and really brightened the office up and made it look all festive and Christmassy.
The women were really happy with their sparkling gifts and I was told THANK YOU over and over again. I have since bought a set for home and will be using them this Christmas on our own PC and I am sure they will look just as nice.
They were dispatched very quickly and arrived well packaged in a durable cardboard box with full and clear instructions for usage. They are still working now and I am sure they will last me for some time yet and we will be using them again this Christmas at the office. In fact, we are putting them up next week!
Lovely and greatly recommended.

I got a set of these lights for Christmas, they simply plug into the USB port and off you go, it's as simple as that. You're free to put them anywhere on your desk or around your monitor.
The lights themselves are little plastic stars which light up white. They're quite bright for their size.
One problem I had is that I have a 26 inch monitor so the lights don't really fit around my screen. Also it's a bit hard to keep them in place and you're likely to need some tape or blue tack or something to keep them there.
They're a great way of jazzing up a boring desk or office. I plan to leave mine up all year just to brighten up my desk.
These are a great little socking filler but probably be easier to use for someone with a laptop or a smaller computer monitor.
Review: OFFICE FAIRY LIGHTS
Twinkle, twinkle, little stars
Feeling full of potential Festive cheer, I investigated this year's fun, 'must have' Christmas toys and decorations currently being sold on Amazon. How else can one brighten up one's office desk?
So, along with my USB port Christmas tree (remarkably relaxing) and Flashing snowman (remarkably irritating), I though that pretty blue stars would complete the hat-trick nicely. They are currently on offer at the slightly reduced price of £8.98 plus p&p, and are produced by 'Find-me-a-gift', a reliable supplier.
The lights were dispatched promptly, and were packaged in a strong cardboard box, with clear instructions on a leaflet inside the box. There is advice given about the care, correct usage and best placement of the lights.
They are gentle but bright lights, 'great for illuminating the work station', powered by connection to one my computer's USB ports. There are twelve plastic stars, each one approximately an inch from point to point and illuminated by blue Led bulbs. They are strung along a clear plastic string which measure about four feet long, which is long enough to use them a short distance away from the laptop.
The one thing I don't like about the 'string' is that is consists of two long strips of plastic twisted round each other. This makes it very difficult to balance them round my laptop. However this very 'problem' will actually make it easier to secure them safely to either the wall in front of my desk or the rack on my desk, both locations being ideal. The lights will then brighten my work station in a perfectly acceptable but not dazzling manner.
So my office desk will continue to be a centre of brilliance, she writes, with a coy smile!
The claim on the box is that 'my office will become so appealing the I will never want to go home', so, folks, if you don't see me over Christmas, it may be that I am still in the office, admiring my beautiful new lights!
