Mamas and Papas Classic Travel Cot ... bought this travel cot two years ago for around £60. I was also told i needed the extra matress (by mamas ans papas staff) so I bought that aswell (£25 - £30) but in fact i didn t need it at all. The travel cot already comes with a basic matress. It weighs 9.9kg which if your taking on holiday is rather heavy, but fine if your just staying over at family/friends house. The frame folds down and the matress folds around the frame to hold it in place. It then secures with two velcro straps and fits into the coordinating bag. In The Night Garden My First Ready Bed ... my first child became too big for the travel cot we had but was still falling out of the cotbed at home, I knew that I had to find a sleeping solution for when we were travelling away from home. I looked at bed rails which provide some solution but only to one side of the bed, unless you buy two! My solution was to buy a Ready Bed, it is an inflatable bed inside of a cover that has it s own bedding all attached! So no need to take sheets, quilts, blankets when you travel, they have all they need in one handy carry bag. The cover removes completely and can be put into the washing machine for complete cleaning. It has incorporated bolsters down the sides to help... Zooby Island Musical Cot Mobile ... husband and I decided not to find out the sex of our twins. It made deciding how to decorate the nursery tricky as it needed to be right for two boys, two girls or one of each! We discovered the Zooby Island range in Boots. It includes lots of different things, from bedding to toys and is the most modern unisex range I have seen. We needed a mobile which could easily be moved between cots, as we have one in our bedroom for night time and one in the nursery for daytime naps.
