... this mobile We bought this mobile when our young son was about 4 months old and about to make the transition to the cot. As he had been in a Moses basket prior to this a mobile hadn t really been possible till now. Fisher Price Precious Planet 2 in 1 Projection Mobile ... i decided it was time to move my son from his moses basket to his own bedroom and his cot i was expecting a few rough nights whilst he got used to it. To make this process a little easier i decided to get him a mobile for the cot. As my son is addicted to the lights of the TV i thought he might find a projection mobile soothing. I went to Babies R Us as i had a £5 off voucher which you recieve with their Gold Card (a points system, a bit like Boots). The only one i could find was the Fisher Price Precious Planet 2 in 1 Projection Mobile, at a price of £48.99 i was slightly put off. Fisher Price Rainforest Mobile ... have found this mobile to be an amazing product. 5 years ago my daughter had a wind up mobile which I used to sooth her to sleep in her cot, however everytime the music stopped playing I had to go into the room and wind it up which made a noise. In this way the rainforest mobile is completely different, all I need to do is press a button and it will play for 15 mins on its own, it can even be put on and switched off by using the one button remote control which comes with it. When turned on, the leaves on the mobile lift up and down and the little bugs turn around and around in a nice slow soothing way, there is also a choice of 3 different melodies, or rainforest sounds... Fisher Price Rainforest Mobile ... hesitation, I would wholeheartedly recommend this product as a must buy for any new parent. The mobile screws easily onto the side of a standard cot (mine is from Mothercare) and provides baby with hours of musical entertainment. The brightly coloured monkey, tree frog (a winning feature in my husband s eyes, who grew sick of cute bunnies and teddies on other mobiles we considered) and parrot revolve around a butterfly friend, all underneath big, green leaves that move gently up and down to the music.
