Advantages: Sturdy, folds up into a carry bag, doubles as a playpen.

Disadvantages: Baby can see you, not handy when trying to settle at night, older children can unzip fabric cover and get out.

We needed a cot for Granny's but also needed a travel cot that we could take away with us.

We were given this by a friend whos child had outgrown it. It has a solid frame with a fabric cover. Two sides are mesh. The matress has 4 hardboard panels and wraps around the frame when folded.

Sturdy and big enough to use as a playpen.

The locks that hold the sides up are very stiff and require a bit of a knack to click into place, but they feel secure.
It can be a bit tricky at first to fold up but once you know which way it goes it is easier.

The mattress has enough padding but is firm enough to play on. I found the panels were starting to sag a little after a while but they were easy to slip out of the fabric cover and turn over to give a bit more bounce.

The fabric sides mean you can see baby handy when using as a play pen but when you are all in one room and trying to get baby to sleep they can sit and watch you and get upset.

Lightweight enough to carry to the car or outside but not much further. When folded it fitted behind the front seats in our car which left more room in the boot.
