Advantages: Strong, last forever, children love them.

Disadvantages: Expensive.

If you are a prospective parent I recommend you invest the extra money in an Early Learning Cot Bed rather than a standard cot.

It's a bit longer and wider than a standard cot and much more sturdily made. They are quite a lot more expensive than a cot, but the outlay will prove worth it in the end.

My cot bed is still going strong after two babies used it as a cot and then as a cot bed when they grew into toddlers. My younger son is now almost four and I think it will fit him for at least another year.

After almost six years of constant use (or, with my children abuse) the cot bed is still as sturdy and strong as ever. I will certainly be able to pass it down through my family.

Early Learning have certainly produced a quality product here.

We have a cot bed for Jack and so far so good, yes the initial outlay is a lot but we hope it will last a long time, it saves that big step of cot to bed later on you just take the sides away, brilliant.
