Advantages: multi functional, suitable up to age 3

Disadvantages: none

i only came across this chair when my daughter reached 8 months, she had outgrown her bouncer chair and her swing, and was at that awkward inbetween stage where she wasnt big enough to hop up onto the sofa to sit with us and although she had a baby walker to sit in i wanted something that she could sit in when she was tired and maybe even fall asleep in.
i wasnt aware of any chairs like this so i asked for advice on a parenting forum on the internet, and this one was suggested to me.
i googled it and the specification met my criteria.
it maintained the cradle shape that she was used to, it had a secure harness to keep her safe when i wasnt in the room. is suitable for up to approx 3 years old, and reclines into a more laid back position for sleeping, (easily done with a bar you pull out and is like a stand so it holds the chair in a fixed position rather than rocking) the laid back function is more suited to small babies as opposed to the rocking function which is more of a sitting position.
there is also a toy bar which attaches with 3 toys, and a vibrating function which requires 1 d size battery.

when i received the chair it was very easy to put together, i was slightly put off by the hard board seat base, but my daughter doesnt seem bothered by it . the chair itself took up much less room than i imagined it would, its roughly the same size as her bouncy chair was, just much sturdier.
the toy bar slots in to 2 spaces either side rather than being a clip on style so she cant pull it off quite so easily, and has 3 velcro tabs to attach toys to.

my daughter isnt very keen on the vibrations, but it think thats aimed more for small babies. she has already learned that she can push herself forwards and back to make it rock, and im sure as soon as she starts walking she will be in and out of it all the time.

i just wish i knew about this chair before she was born as it really is suitable from birth to toddler and would have been a one off buy.

Summary: a fab chair that is well worth the money
