Advantages: sturdy design

Disadvantages: assembly awkwardness, difficult to repack

The Graco travel cot is the ideal piece of kit if you are of need of a cot whilst away from home but it is equally adept in our case at providing a play pen in the home. The cot comes folded up in a travel bag that is difficult to get the cot back into once you have taken it out. Having said that it is possible. The colours I believe can vary although our cot is the same deisgn as the one in the picture here.

The cot is easy to assemble although we have experienced some trouble with aking the side bars rigid as it is an unsual movement that is required to help the cot keep its shape. Once done though it is easy to do in future.

The cot has a sturdy base which from first hand experience can withstand a lot of bouncing up and down from a child. The cot is also big enough (roughly 4ft by 3ft) to contain various toys for your child to play with. The whole cot is raised onto 4 legs to keep the cot off the floor. The mesh around each side of the cot is good for 2 reasons: you can see your child through the side of the cot and also, if your child falls the mesh acts as a kind of safety net.

All in all a very good product

Summary: A top notch travel cot or home play pen

These are quite rugged. Our daughter used one as her actual cot in our first house, then we used it when camping and as a playa rea for nights at grandmas with teh 2nd, and now its in use when my stepdaughter brings her lil un over. She's nearly outgrown it as well , and it is going in the loft waiting for the next child!
