This has to be the most versatile travel/cot play pen around . It’s compact enough to put in a smallish sitting room , and folds away into a small bag ( rectangular ) when you wasn’t to travel .

It is excellent to take to relatives without small children as it is a safe place for your tot to play in the day ( away from all those exposed wires, corners of tables etc – you know the score ! ) . And then at night you’ve got a cot for your tot to sleep in . The benefit is that your baby will feel secure as it will be familiar surroundings and avoids the problem of having to have the baby in bed with you on holiday .

Several times during the day we put our tot in her play pen , when we make dinner , pop to the loo etc . We know it is a secure place for her to play . The travel cot has mesh sides and a well padded frame , so we know she won’t hurt herself if she slumps over .The mesh also allows her to see out , so she watches me doing the hovering which seems to keep her more occupied than most of her toys !!!

The cot has a padded base , we put 2 pillows under the base for out tot so she is a bit more comfy , but we know others who don’t both with the pillows . The cot doesn’t need to be constructed/ deconstructed each time you want to use it . You just fold it up like an umbrella , so is opens/folds up in about 10 seconds – what could be easier ???

The folded size ( cm ) of the cot is (L) 76 , (W) 26.5 (H) 25 , so it can easily fit into the boot along with all the rest of the baggage . The overall size when constructed is (L)90 (W) 69 (H) 74.5 .

So there is plenty of room for all sized tot’s too play .

Our Graco compact travel cot cost 38 pounds from Letsbuyit.com and is the primary colour design . The same model in a different colour costs about 60 pounds in Argos . I think To
ys’r’us sell them for about 45 pounds in a navy check design . Kiddicare.com also had an offer on these at one time .
