~ Hauck Dream N Play Travel Cot in Winnie the Pooh ~

When I had my previous 3 children I had found travel cots an invaluable piece of equipment to have so I knew that when I had my fourth I would eventually want to get a travel cot.
I wasn't that bothered at first as I was using his moses basket but he didn't really seems to like his basket and would prefer to sleep in his pram so when I saw this Hauck Winnie the Pooh travel cot on ebay I popped it in my watch list ready to place a bid nearer the ending time. I managed to snap it up for £10 which I saw as a bargain. I was even more pleased when the seller said she would pop it up to me as she was off shopping and coming my way. Brilliant!

So from the pictures on the ebay ad I knew what to expect and I wasn't dissapointed at all. It is a very attractive and cute travel cot. The top sides of the cot are coloured in a nice bright turquoise as is the 'mattress' part. The rest of the material is in a navy blue. One end of the cot features a pop on bag which attaches to the cot with four silver popper buttons, it's quite a large bag which is navy in colour with a cute Winnie the Pooh design on one side, I just keep nappies, wipes and cream in here. The other side features a zip opening half circle, which I have to admit in not having a clue as to why it is there!!
One side of the netting is plain and the other features a jolly looking Winnie the Pooh face in the corner.
Overall I think it's a rather cute looking travel cot. Oh, not to forget, it also has a detachable toy bar which simply clips onto either side of the cot, it has three hanging toys dangling from it - Winnie the Pooh, Tigger and Piglet.
So yes, I do find it rather cute.

Like our previous travel cot, I had difficulty in putting this up alone, but I think that it's me thats the problem here and not the cots!
It all clicks up together to form a sturdy frame which I am more than happy with. The whole cot feels very firm and nothing about it worries me. The 'mattress' part is quite thin but no thinner than the previous one we had (which was a Graco model) and my sons seems quite happy to sleep in it.

It folds down to a neat small size. To fold it you have to push in one the middle of each of the four top bars and then pull the string in the middle of the cot, this will then allow it to collapse quite easily. The 'mattress' then folds around the cot and then this all fits in the travel bag supplied with the cot.

We have used it both at home and whilst on holidays and I am very happy with it. I certainly have no complaints at all. It fitted neatly in the boot of the car, taking up very little room, and in the caravan we stayed in my hubby took one of the bed frames out of the bedroom to make room for this, and it fitted in neatly alongside the remaining single bed.

At home I generally keep it up as I find it's somewhere safe for my little one to sleep. It takes up hardly any room but it isn't uncomfortably small for him to sleep in. I think it's not that far off a wooden cot anyway.

For the price I paid for this I know I got a bargain. It's sturdy and safe aswell as being very cute.

Summary: A really cute travel cot.
