Advantages: cheap, practical, easy to clean

Disadvantages: if I'm being picky - only available with blue dots not pink

We regularly have our little nephew over to stay with us, he is just three years old, and he is a fiercely independant little thing. However he is too small to be as independant as he would like to be; i.e. using the toilet, and using the bathroom sink to wash his hands and to brush his teeth.
His mum and dad have one of these little Forsiktig childrens stools from Ikea at home already to give him that little extra step up. As they are only £2.49 we decided to get one to keep at our house as well.

The little white step stool has an anti slip cover on the top in the form of blue circular non slip rubber dots to reduce the risk of little feet slipping off it, it also has an anti slip protector on the underside in the form of blue rubber feet so that the stool always stands steady on the floor.
The little step stool stands 13cm high, it is 24cm deep, and 37cm wide. It is a soft, curved shape to slot up againt the toilet or the bathroom sink easily. It is just a lightweight plastic, and therefore it is easy to keep clean, just a quick wipe over it with a damp cloth. It has little finger holes in the sides to enable you to move it easily to wherever you need it.

This gets an awful lot of use, it's ideal for a toddler who can't reach things such as the toilet or the bathroom sink. He also uses it as a little seat sometimes. I have to admit that I've even stood on it myself a couple of times to reach a kitchen cupboard, it's not designed for adults so I've only quickly stepped on and off it - just long enough to reach what I need. It does seem very sturdy as I've done no damage at all to it (and I weigh a lot more than a toddler!).

This is a practical little step stool, easy to clean, and definately worth the price.
