I brought this table (although i have the square one) to accompany the two matching chairs i got for my daughter when she was about 18 months. I loved the funky design of the chairs and thought they were excellent so wanted to get the table to match. I'm glad i did cause at about £20 it has paid for itself again and again. It comes in several colours and as i said above i have the square design but you can also get it in a round one for about £5 more.
It is made of a tick very durable plastic and is very sturdy. My daughter has tested this by climbing all over it and it has never looked like it couldn't take her weight. It is very light and easy to move from room to room, or into the garden and is wipe clean so after a messy time painting or drawing it is easy to keep looking new.
As it is plastic we are able to use it inside and in the garden for messy play or picnics which my daughter loves. We have left it outside overnight along with the chairs on several occassions (ooops naughty parents) and exposed it to the elements and it is still looks as good as new.
It comes flat pack (good old ikea) but is so simple to put together it took about 5 minutes before my daughter was sat at it scribbling away.
I would definatly recommend this table (and the chairs) to any parent, they are not only modern and stylish, they are excellent quality and very reasonably priced.
