Advantages: Good for a small room. Comfortable.

Disadvantages: It comes flat packed. You have to get the specific mattress £60!! it is expensive.

We bought the other kind of toddler, adjustable bed from IKEA. Ours sort of folds up at each end. The mattress comes in three parts, and so each folded up end has it's own padded head rest. The bed comed complete with a small rail on one side and is solid and a great size for a small room. We have two together to make up a short double so that the children sleep together at night instead of with us. The only thing is that a normal single quilt is too big, but a baby quilt is too small. The beds were also rather expensive, though they can be used up until around the age of 7 depending on the size of your child. As your child gets bigger you simply undo and rescrew the headrest down to become part of the mattress. The other end does the same, so you have three lengths. The bed is wide enough and all my children have been comfortable in it!
