My child hates to sleep alone and always wants to sleep with us. I bought a new cotbed from kiddicare 2 years back thinking he will sleep in it straightaway but he didn't. But it's got nothing to do with the bed, it's just my child doesn't like to be away from us. But the bed was very good. But it was of good depth so we could leave our child in it when you have to do some important thing in the kitchen- it served like a playpen too!!! Once he sleeps in it then he couldn't cross the side slats and get out of the bed which was safe and good until he became taller. My daughter has always been a bad sleeper and when she got to 18 months she suddenly decided that she hated her cot. She would scream and scream and as she was quite tall for her age we decided that maybe she couldn't get comfortable so decided to look for a toddler bed. I looked at several beds and couldn't believe the price, some were £100+ and although they all claim to last until 8 years I didn't believe them. I put a query on a baby site for advice and was recommended this bed from Kiddicare. It's only £50 and that includes post and packaging.
