I had the little tikes travel cot when my girls were around five months old.
I bought it from toys r us for £49.99.
The playpen/cot come with a carry bag with zip for storing the cot and making it easy to carry when travelling. It is quite light weighing only 8kgs. The beauty about this travel cot is removing it from the bag pull up one side of the travel cot and it clicks into place with no messing around once you have done the same on the other side it is ready to use that simple. It s 100cms long so it is quite big and fitted both jess and hannah in at the same time with room to move and have toys in to play with.
The mattress is built in to the base or floor of the travel cot and is nice and padded, there is netting all the way around for airflow and the girls could see out and i could see them too.
All the metal poles of the frame and hidden under padding and have coloured nylon fabric. The cot is very colourful, one side red, one green, one yellow and one side blue, it has the little tikes badge on the front.
The cot is sturdy and both girls enjoyed sleeping at nap times in the cot as we had in built up in the living room, it was a nice handy place to sit them down whilst doing house work known there safe and i could see them. With twins this was a god send but would be great for one child as well. Packing up the cot takes only a few minutes and you just need to push the buttons on the frame and it collapsed ready to put back in the bag although we did not do this often as it was a permanent feature in the living room.
