Introduction

My daughter is 4 months old and she likes a lot to stay on the floor and play with her toys. The trouble is I have a dog and I don't want my daughter to be in contact with my dog yet. So I thought a travel cot would be a very good idea. She could stay and play in there while I am doing house work and also we could use it when we go to visit friends.
So I went on Mama and Papas website as I knew their products are quite good quality and I found the classical travel cot in sale for ONLY £35.
I ordered it, and I must say that they were very good in letting me know when the travel cot was despatched and when it was going to be delivered. It arrived in 2 days exactly as they said.

Design
---------
The travel cot looks very nice; it is black with dark red corners. It looks very nice in my family room which is a bonus as I was concerned that it wouldn't go with my furniture. The travel cot is also smaller than most travel cots, which is very useful if you have a small house like ours. It comes in a compact small bag. I must stay though that the bag is quite heavy so if you go travelling you might want to ask your husband / partner to carry it.

Installation
---------------
It was very easy to put together. It took me about 5 minutes although I must say that you have to be quite forceful with the top sides to click in place. But once they are in place everything is easy to put together.

Mattress
-----------
The mattress is made of a material that can be easily wiped clean. My baby is being sick all the time so it's very good that I can just wipe the mattress. Sometimes when it is very cold in the house and I am worried that my little baby gets cold I just put a blanket on the top of the mattress.

Conclusion
--------------
I am happy I bought this cot as it was very good value for money. I would recommend this to my friends. I suppose the only downside would be that as it is quite small you might need to buy another one by the time your baby is 2 or so. But again this depends on the baby I suppose. So my rating will be 5 stars.
