      Very helpful

I have just passed my daughters Mamas and Papas Dondolino Rocking chair onto my brother for his new baby, as I could not recommend it highly enough. This is one of the more expensive models on the market, and at £50 I know that a lot of people will think it too much to pay, but for the hours my daughter used it, it worked out the best buy of anything else I bought. Unlike the more upright "bouncy chairs" this one can be used from birth as it can be fully reclined, so the newborn can lie flat, and it adjusts upwards in a total of four positions. As my daughter got a little older I started to wean her in her chair, and as any mother or father will know this is a messy job, so it was a total bonus that the covers were washable and easy to remove and put back on the frame. The chair also has handles to enable you to carry the chair, but they were only made from cloth and as my daughter got a little heavier I never used the handles to move the chair when she was in it, as I was not totally confident that they would hold the combined weight of baby and chair. The model I bought was brightly coloured yellow, blue and green, and it was very well padded, ensuring the baby was very comfortable. Find a rich relative and get them to buy it for you.
