... mother thought it a wonderful idea to buy this ugly sandpaper feeling carpet. She said it looked nice and if I hated the feel of it so much then to keep my house shoes on! This has obviously scarred me for life! In store I ran my hand over the rug and was happy with it. It's not light and fluffy but at the same time it's not harsh and unwelcoming. As we have all wood flooring in our house I knew I would have to get something to have on the floor in the kids' room. I was in Mothercare and saw this little rug. It had a car on it and didn't look as if it was going to take up the whole floor. I specifically didn't want something large. The little car shaped rug at it's longest bit is only slightly longer then my 9 months old. Price & Availability: The rug cost me £10. It was reduced at the time from £19.
