If you are wondering wheither or not a moses basket is a good idea I would strongly recommend this one. Our room is quite small but the basket fitted in and meant easy access to our son at night and meant we could keep an eye on him as you want to. The moses basket looked very comfortable and my son took to it easily although one thing i would highlight is that if you want a maxi cool mattress you have to buy this as an addition seperately. Remember also to buy fitted sheets with it too. It comes with a lovely wee cover but to be honest i didnt find a use for it as it was on the small side. The moses basket is super as it is quite light to move room to room which was necessary for us as we needed our son to be near a window for light as he had jaundice. The canopy is a nice extra but i found i didnt put it up much just when the main light was on in the room. An excellent moses basket overall in a cute colour for a wee boy.

Summary: a sturdy but quite light to move from room to room
