Advantages: Baby liked the rocking motion of the stand.

Disadvantages: None that I can think of.

We bought this stand to accompany a Mothercare Winnie the Pooh Moses Basket. It appealed to us because the dark stain and sturdiness made it look like it was more expensive than it was. It was easy to construct and the Moses Basket fitted snugly and securely into it - I'm not sure what it would be like with models not from Mothercare. It was reasonably light enabling it to be moved around from room to room easily if required.

We hadn't thought much about whether we would use the rocking facility, however, our little girl didn't need a lot of sleep as a new born so getting her off to sleep was made a bit easier with the aid of the rocking motion. I would thoroughly recommend this product to anyone looking for a Moses Basket stand and would also recommend the Mothercare Moses Basket itself. A decent product at a decent price.

Summary: Sturdy, practical and good for getting baby to sleep.
