I purchased the Pencil Table with Chairs set for my daughter's nursery room, so she has somewhere to draw pictures, read books and so on (though you could use it for meals, we don't use it for that).

I bought the set from B&M Bargains (a discount shop similar to Home Bargains / Quality Save) for the bargain price of £14.99 which I think is excellent value for money. I have also seen this for around £20 - £25 in Wilkinsons.

The table and chairs come flat pack but they are really easy to put together and are sturdy too, no worries there. The pencil style comes from the legs of the table and the back of the chairs which are pencil ends with erasers in style, and the legs of the chairs are pencil points. It looks really good, very funky in bright primary colours, just right for a child (or two!) my daughter is not quite two and her feet don't touch the floor but she is safe in the chair and can get up and down off it fine.

The table is well made, it's wipe clean and ideal for projects you might not want to do on your dining room table - painting, glitter, glue and so on. Coupled with a wipe clean protective floor mat it's an ideal craft station for little ones and there is plenty of room for two children to play.

Overall I do recommend the Pencil Table with Chairs as a lovely little nursery set suitable for messy play, eating and drinking and so on. It's a reasonable price, very easy for one person to put together and it makes a sturdy set which will last in your family. I highly recommend this quirky set and will award it five stars out of five, it would make a lovely gift.
