We were bought this cotbed when I found out I was expecting my son, it was a gift off my mum and step dad. They paid £120 for it and it was delivered to their house 90 miles away so I was itching for them to come and see me for a visit as I couldn't wait to put it up and finish the nursery.

The carvings off Winnie the Pooh are the reason I wanted this cot bed in particular, as it matched all the other furniture and also the decorating that we had done in the nursery as we used the Winnie the Pooh Starry Night theme. Unfortunately by the time they were able to bring the cot up to us, my son had already been born as he was early, so I wasn't able to put the cot up, but my husband and step dad did. It took them less than half an hour and they even had time to move the rest of my furniture around to find the best fit for it.

The cotbed didn't come with a mattress, but we had that paid for by mum as well, and she had fetched it up ready to go straight into the cot when it was built, so by the time they had left us, the cot was up mattress was in and I had the time to put the bedding on. It looks gorgeous made up. The cot is sturdy and has more than one mattress position so it grows with the baby through to the toddler years when it can be changed into a bed, the head board moving down so you retain the Winnie the Pooh carvings as a bed as well.

I am so glad we didn't opt for a cheaper or plainer cotbed, this one sets off the bedroom nicely and adds that finishing touch.
