My girls have started to regularly have sleepovers now, and although they have a room each, they didn't have anywhere for friends to sleep other than topping and tailing. I had been looking for a full size single airbed, however when I was searching on the internet, I came across the My First ReadyBeds which were smaller meaning they would fit into the girls bedrooms without taking up the whole floorspace in their bedrooms when they have friends over. We ordered our ReadyBed online and managed to pick one up for just under £30 on Amazon, cheaper than the £36.99 RRP. There is lots of choice when choosing these beds, perfect for the individual tastes of the child, rather than a standard choice of pink or blue. We opted for the rather unimaginative choice of Disney Princesses and Peppa Pig but others available were Gruffalo, Fifi, Spider Man and Thomas the Tank Engine. The wraparound bedhead as well as the quilt has a large picture of their favourite character. Suitable for ages 2+, they are the ideal choice for occasional stays such as at Grandparents house, camping, or as we use, sleepovers etc. The inflatable bed is up and ready for use within minutes, making the process quick and simple, and it is easily transported in its own carry case. The pump is included with the ReadyBed. When I was reading reviews online I noticed that a few people had had problems with the bed puncturing and the bed becoming useless, so we have given the girls a stern word about how careful they and their guests must be with the bed. It is so tempting with children to stand on these types of beds, but the girls are aware of what will happen if they were to stand on it, and this would ruin any future fun they may have, so they are really careful with it. It is stored away when not in use and we always make sure it has been stored in its carry case. As the bed is suitable from 2 years +, I would be cautious about really young children being out of bed with it, in case they were to puncture it. As the inflatable bed, also comes with its own cover, it really is an all in one solution and takes any fuss over extra quilts, covers etc, away. The cover is just the right thickness too so it is perfect for children. The cover is removable and fully washable too. The ReadyBed is a perfect sleepover solution, ideally aimed at young children. It has protective side bolsters meaning they wonÂ't easily fall out and the small built in headboard makes it really feel like a proper bed.
