Installshield DemoShield 7.xNow you can evaluate the performance of your students by conducting quizzes in your tutorials and displaying the scores. Utilize the ability to perform calculations in your presales demonstrations to print order forms and conduct surveys. Previously, math functions had to be hard-coded. Now you can use variables entered by the user using the Perform Calculation Action on Variable and Edit Field Objects. Creating a set of radio buttons to function in a mutually exclusive manner is now just a matter of grouping them. You can also check for installed files and registry settings at any time during your demo. For example, if your documentation is provided in a certain format, you can now check to see if the required viewer is installed before launching the documentation. If not, then you can automatically run the software installation if you've included it on your CD. Text objects now support anti-aliasing for smoother-looking screen display, and they now let you use different fonts and type styles in the same object for added emphasis. An enhanced Formatting Tool bar now allows you to change font and styling options on more than one object at a time. Go wild and use any font that pleases you because you can now embed these font files in your demo and rest assured it will look alike on all machines. |
