I then revisited the install page and realised that I could have taken off some features before I had installed the software. I know some people may say that all you have to do is drag the programs that you do not want into the trash but that does not clear all of the files from your computer. I purchased the office for mac 2011 as I had just bought a new computer and wanted to make sure everything would work OK. I know you can download many types of free office software on the internet but I felt that the official microsoft office for mac would work best without any problems. So far I have not been disappointed. Everything looks and works great. You get word, powerpoint and excel. Really, it is just office which you use on your PC but it looks and feels like it was always made for mac. Everything is familiar and just easy to use.
