Little did I realise what I had been missing. The ease of which emails are downloaded. The tidy and various ways they can be arranged and filed. Add to that the fact that I recently started my own business and the professional nature that outlook can give to your emails is fantastic. One area that Outlook does fall down on is virus p...more

Premium Review Microsoft Outlook 2007: The Most Powerful Email Management Suite: Outlook 2007 (993 words)
by - written on 11/03/08 (Very useful, 747 readings)
Rating:

Microsoft Outlook is Microsofts email management program, the previous versions were so good that nothing has come close, is this version improved enough to be worth buying? Look Unlike most of the other Office 2007 programs Microsoft Outlook 2007 hasn't been given a facelift, you still get your menus, not a handy tab in sight! I can only imagine they did this to save you from having to relearn all your Office programs. You can still skin the program in one of three skins, default XP blue, Vista black or a stylish silver. The effect of the skinning is less than on previous programs as it only colours the outer border. The rest of the program is rather ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Outlook 2007-The outlook is good (312 words)

Rating:

In my mind emails should be something quick, easy, and secure, and that is something that Microsoft Outlook has in spades. I do tend to email quite a lot and over the years I have built up quite a number of email addresses. However, I find with hotmail, yahoo and even gmail, that very often these can be troublesome to get into, easily become filled with spam and more annoyingly are surrounded by advertisements for items I have no interest in. Then there is Microsoft Outlook. I have used Outlook for years at work but never really paid it much attention and I never used it at home. That was until I recently upgraded both my home PC and my laptop and upgraded my ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Microsoft Outlook 2007: Fab! (193 words)

Rating:

Outlook is definately the best email client out there and many people who do not use it, but have it, and rather use some other web based email like hotmail really don't know what they're missing. You simply go to your desktop, double click the little envelope icon and Voila! Your emails are there to view, no annoying adverts and an easy to use dashboard allowing you to reply to, or forward the message on as necessary. The ability to create specific folders for different emails is especially useful and allows you to immediately prioritise emails you know are moe important than others. Outlook also features a decent spam filter and most junk goes in here, ready ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Best Email Client Out There (180 words)
by - written on 06/07/08 (Useful, 184 readings)
Rating:

Outlook has always been the first choice for any user for an excellent email client, and that choice remains the same. Outlook 2003 was the best email client i had used, the mixture of features and a simple to use interface made it ideal for checking email; keeping track of contacts and calender. Outlook remains the same, but with a few extra features that makes the experience even better. The most noticeable difference is the new side bar which allows users to instantly view their to-do's, calender and new emails. This makes checking up on the day ahead even easier than before. The next new feature of note it the colour tagging system which allows the ...  Read the complete review
