I use this program often for school work at home and in school as it helps to create mind maps which are easy to read and understand. There are many good features which I use and tend not to venture too far as there are so many features which over complicate things.
Variety of Features: This program has many features such as brainstorming, where you type in all the ideas you have and then drag them into groups you choose on the mind map. However, I don't use these features which aim to speed up the process of creating the mind map as I find they just slow me down.
Its very simple to begin a mind map as you just enter a central topic and press "insert" on the keyboard. This then takes you to a further sub topic connected by a line to the central topic, you can then select that sub topic and press insert again to add a further sub topic. This then can be built up with links to website, documents or photos to add visual and further aids.
The program occasionally runs slowly on my old PC however all in all it is a reliable and easy program to use. It installed easily through the usual "next...next...next" process and updates are regular e.g. every 6 months or so.
The program isn't the most use friendly I've met due to its large number of added features which I just think clog up what could be a very sleek and easy to navigate interface.
