Advantages: no vacuuming

Disadvantages: nice to wear slippers

After many years of having a carpet, we decided on a change of flooring and decided on laminated flooring. After taking up the carpet and cleaning the floor, the work started. The flooring comes in long panels which slip into each other. You lay these on a felt.
The end product looks fresh and clean.
It only needs a damp wipe over with a cloth. It is not cold to the feet and gives the room a bigger look than when carpeted and looks relaxing. We are thrilled with it.
