AccessorizeNewest Review: ... pinkness) and a dubious men's section (I have NEVER seen a man browsing for himself in Accessorize. They merely stand there with glazed-over eyes whilst their better half trawls through all the pretty things). Whoever came up with the idea for a shop of accessories is a GENIUS. After all, I can't think of anywhere else which caters exclusively for this niche, unless you include cut-price tween paradise Claire's Accessories (which I, understandably, do not). My experience with Accessorize: I've had mixed experiences with this shop. When I walk in, I'm all "Oooh!" and "Aaah!" at all the precious little trinkets they ha... more |

Accessorize! It's spelt with a Z, but it's a British company!? What's that all about eh? Obviously, AccessoriSe doesn't look quite as cool. Or maybe they intended to eventually branch out into America and trick rich ladies on the Sunset Strip or the Hollywood Boulevard into buying their pricey baubles by lulling them into a false sense of security with this veiled Americanism. Who knows. Anyway, just wanted to make the point. So, onwardZ. Accessorize is part of posh-lady shopping emporium Monsoon, and it caters for all tastes with a range of 'additions' to the overpriced Monsoon articles you've bought to wear to your next tea morning or charity ... Accessorize is part of the Monsoon shop but can generally be found as a seperate store. As the name suggests the shop sells accessories which are characterised by their unique style. Always up to date with the latest trends, for me Monsoon provides funky accessories with an ethnic or vintage twist. There is a huge range to choose from in store and online and with regular changes in stock you never get bored! Also you rarely see people wearing the same items. The accessories on offer for women include jewellry, hats, scarves, gloves, bags, shoes, hair accessories, night wear, belts, tights, socks and even sun glasses. And this is only the accessory ... I've always spent far more money on accessories than on clothes, so Accessorize is somewhere I visit regularly. They're a mid-priced accessories store which is part of the Monsoon brand. The stores I've been in have not been particularly well laid out to be perfectly honest, they always seem a bit random and cluttered, but saying this they are much better layouts than the likes of Claire's Accessories and other similar stores. It's usually pretty easy to find what you want even though they're not always set out brilliantly. They might have things arranged by colour or style, or just by what type of accessory they are, and this can be different each ... Read the complete review

Accessorize is a lovely accessories shop (hence the name!) that has stemmed from Monsoon, a luxury clothes shop which is quite pricy but nice to treat yourself for special occasions with their gorgeous quality clothes. I personally think that they have an excellent range of products that are suitable for all ages. They have beautiful, classic handbags in velvet etc. that people like my grandma and possibly my mum would love but then they also havecute little stationary sets and stickers etc. for little girls. However, they mostly appeal to teenagers and young adults like me with their bright, quirky colours and funky designs. They sell handbags ... Read the complete review

Accessorize has been one of my favourite stores for a very long time. Being a larger lady, I often find shopping for clothes pretty stressful as lots of things don't fit/don't come in my size/say that they are my size and then are actually teeny tiny. However, with Accessorize, this is never a problem, due to the fact that they sell things that fit everyone - accessories! Necklaces, bracelets, earrings, rings, bangles, scarves, sunglasses, knitwear, handbags, and they have even branched out into swimwear and shoes recently! I don't get the swimwear, but just about nothing else in this shop is out of bounds for me for reasons of size - this is one of the reasons that I ... Read the complete review
