Advantages: Massive selection, unique collections, a bit different, store layout

Disadvantages: You go in for one item and come out with 5 matching things!

Accessorise is one of those high street shops I'm not sure if I could live without. It has helped me out on countless occasions with last minute birthday and Christmas presents or to find the perfect accessory to complement an outfit for a special occasion. it's also helped cheer me up on many lunchtime trips out of the office! It's only a 60 second walk away.

Accessorise was born out of the Monsoon company. Monsoon sold a small collection of accessories and then branched out into the seperate chain of accessorize stores. There are now over 240 accessorize stores in the UK selling a wide range of accessories. Accessorize products are good quality and reasonably priced.

Accessorize sells a wide range of products for women, men and children. Most of their collections are for women, but all stores have a mens section and a small section for children. The store sells every kind of accessory you can think of including; bags, scarves, jewellery, sunglasses, flip flops, shoes, gloves, hats, hair accessories, underwear, night wear, socks, beach wear and sarongs. The list goes on and on! Accessorize have their own in-house design team so this ensures they have unique collections and something inspirational every time you shop there.

The layout of the stores is fantastic. Items are displayed in colour-bays. This means that the shop contains different sections displaying accesssories on the same colour theme. This makes shopping so simple, you just head for the area with the colour you want! If you are like me and just want to get in and out of a shop in a flash, then it's a great arrangement.

I can always count on ccessorize to have something a little bit different and to always be bang on trend for the season. It would be hard to go there and not be able to find what you are looking for. These shops are a real Alladin's cave and perfect for magpies like me.

A note to all you boys....buy her something from here and you really can't go wrong!
