Aldi

Aldi is a discount supermarket that originally was a German based store, the earliest roots of aldi in Germany is 1913. Since then Aldi has just got bigger and bigger across the world. Aldi has around 8078 stores open world wide, with new stores opening all the time. The fist store in the uk was opened in 1989, it now has around 400 stores in the uk.

Aldi has a big drink range in my local store. Aldi has had some if its wines win awards so must be worth a try. They do lots of European lagers these are cheap compared to other supermarkets.

I love the health and beauty products in Aldi, their night cream at £1.99 a pop is a super bargain, you can also get facial wipes, anti perspirant, shower gels, shampoo's and conditions and many other thing for under 99p so being as beautiful as me wont break the bank.

The cheese selection of speciality cheese at Aldi is great and most of them are also under 99p. Once a week they have a selection of fruit and veg on offer for 49p so eating healthy can be cheap. I have always found aldi fruit and veg great and really fresh.

Another of my top buys at Aldi has to be their nappies, I brought a packet for my son one shopping trip as was nearly out of nappies and couldn't be bothered to go to boots and they where great and did the job just as well as the pampers he normally wears, a big packet cost me £5.98 were the same size packet sets me back £8.98.

The staff are always help full at aldi tho I do think they could do with a few more at my local store as you always have to queue for a least 5 - 8 minutes to get served

So by now you mist be thinking wow this store sounds perfect, well it does have some bad points. I do not buy things like tins of beans and packets of noodles as I find them more expensive than compared to other stores value ranges and they are off similar quality.
Also you always have to buy carrier bags from aldi so it is a good idea to take some with you. The part y husband does not like about aldi (which doesn't bother me) is that you don't pack you bags at the till it is but back in you trolley and then u go away and pack it.

For me aldi is a store I pop in to get some of there stuff that I find good I never do a big weekly shop here.

Summary: a good store to go in a pick the best bits from

My mum swears by their beauty products and she used to use Clinique!
