I returned a faulty kettle(9months old)to my local Aldi store today.It was accompanied by the receipt & 3year warranty card.After a prolonged discussion with the store manager in front of a queue of customers ,I was told to ring a premium telephone no. as my contract was not with Aldi but with the manufacturer.I decided to try the internet rather than waste £`s on a no doubt prolonged fruitless discussion with the repair agent,NOTE:" NOT THE MANUFACTURER"I will now try to reach Aldi via email but am having difficulty finding their "CONTACT US" site.ALDI`s Our guarantee to you appears to only last for 30 days,the 3 year warranty card seems to be a myth.I bought my kettle from Aldi,not some obscure repair agent .I believe that the original manufacturer probably exists in China or some other distant landThey do mention "does not affect your statutory rights" but do not seem to willing to honour my rights.ALL I WANT IS A WORKING KETTLE
