Advantages: Cheap prices,
Disadvantages: Watch out for the chocolates sold by European Companies here
Introduction
Aldi is one of the supermarkets everyone goes to buy cheaper items from lower brands from. It is actually a German company so most of their products sold are from Europe. They have a lot of bargains on cheap items like Cola drinks, baked beans, fruit and vegetables are just some of the few bargains you can pick up.
On my first shopping trip here I was very impressed with the stock they had in here. A lot of good fruit and vegetables can be found at cheap prices. Some of them even costing half the price you would find at the big supermarkets.
When I went to get some junk food then I was not impressed one bit at all. A lot of chocolate copies from Europe of Whole Nut sold and Dairy Milk at cheap prices.
I do not like them because I did buy them once and when I got home the taste was so bad I had to throw them in the bin. In my experience of buying them for junk food it has been terrible and I no longer even bother heading on the section when I come here.
Frozen food section has a number of well priced items including frozen pizzas. Never buy cheap pizza here for a pound it has never worked for me in taste wise because the pizza has been very bad in taste.
Overall the products bought from here that have been worthwhile for me has been the fruits, the drinks and small can items like baked beans. There are other few items that are okay to pick up. I can say Aldi does save you money on your shopping but not all their quality is what you would expect.
Summary: Avoid the junk food/Frozen food sections but the rest is fine
