I set a friend a challenge the other day. The prize was a box of Ambala sweets. And I wasn't to get to eat one. Never set that boy a challenge, it's a bad move, I assure you. Ambala are one of the biggest sellers of Indian sweets in the UK. They have branches up and down the country in almost any town that has a fair-sized Asian population. There's one a couple of miles up the road from me, in Southall, and one in Drummond Street, just outside Euston station, that I go to a lot.
