Ann Summers are an online and highstreet store which sell a large range of lingerie, uniforms, dvd's & books, lotions, sex toys and more!

***MORE ABOUT WHAT THEY SELL***
* Sex Toys - This can range from girly vibrators & dildos, toys for couples and toys for him. This section is normally situated to the back of the store and of course it's strictly over 18's only! I was very embarrassed when I got asked for id once! These items can vary in price from about £5.00 upto £60.00! When you walk into the toy section they have about 6 samples of toys on the shelf which you can feel and switch on if you fancy, so you can get a rough idea what is it like!

* Lingerie - They sell, bras, knickers, thongs, basques, suspenders, babydolls, chemises, nightwear and also have a large range of hoisery. They start from a size 8 and go upto a size 20. The bras start from a 32A and generally go upto a size 40DD! I find that some of their size 8 knickers are a bit too tight, so I always have to go up 1 size. How-ever the bras are comfortable and fit very well. They do a very large range of hoisery items from fishnet stockings, to two tone coloured stockings.

* Uniforms/Dressing Up - They have quite a large range of dressing up clothes such as nurses, french maid and school girl outfits. I find that their uniforms are very limited in store, but there is a larger range online on their website. I also find that in the uniforms I have to go for a size 6 as they come up quite big. No doubt you will have seen girls in fancy dress in the pink miss massage costumes, the army and nurses uniforms. So many girls wear these outfits out on the town for parties, etc, that frankly I now find them boring!

* Fun Stuff - In this section you will find items such as edible jelly boobs, chocolate willies, body paint, strip mugs, keyrings wind up toys and they experience items such as Striptease classes, Sensual Photography experience and pole dancing lessons for 1 or 2 people!

* Lotions & Lubes - They do a large range of different types of lubricants and massage oils. They stock a large range of Durex lubricants and massage gels as well as their own.

* Hen & Stag Night - This is another section where you will find fun and funny items such as inflatable willies & sheep, novelty earrings and badges, hand cuffs, forfeit cards and more!

* Books & Dvd's - These include erotic stories & fun and educational books, including sex tips and other things (not that I'm suggesting that anyone needs this!) In this section there is also a lot od adult films.

* Bondage - In this section you will find whips, leather cuffs, pvc and latex clothing as well as blind-folds and different types of handcuffs and other items.

* KnickerBox - This range sits within the ann summers store and is completely different to ann summers, this is more girly and isn't as rauncy as ann summers lingerie. This is priced very well and they also have a large range of bra's, knickers, suspenders & basques.

***ANN SUMMERS SALES***
I love their sales, you can pick up some amazing bargains. Although I hate the way sale is merchandised as it looks a bit like a jumble sale and everything is very cramped and when you pick one item off the rail there are about 3 others attatched to it, or you end up knocking lots of items on the floor!

I do how-ever always check out their sales when I know they have one, as I tend to find a lot of the smaller sizes such as 8/10 tend to go very quickly! Some of their lingerie is reduced by huge amounts and some items are xmas are even upto 50% off!

***QUALITY OF ITEMS***
I have never had any problems with any of the lingerie I have bought from ann summers, I have always been pleased with the quality and have never had a faulty or damaged item.

***FITTING ROOMS***
In the store you can try on items to see how they look, obviously due to hygiene reasons you have to keep your own lingerie on, but this is a great way to how well the item fits. In the stores I have been in, the fitting rooms are very lare with plenty of room and pegs to hang your items and clothing. An assistant will always stay close should you need any help or an item in another size!

***REFUNDS/EXCHANGES***
I am a bit confused by this, as I have been told in my local store that they do not issue refunds for unwanted goods, they will only issue a credit note, even if you have the receipt! How-ever when I went into a different store I received a refund for an item which was unwanted! Obviously due to hygiene reasons they will not refund hoisery or knickers which have had the plastic liner taken out from inside of them!

***CUSTOMER SERVICE***
When I go into my local store there is a lady who is very nice, helpful and very chatty. If you need help she will help you to the best of her ability and I find that if they don't have an item in stock they will always go to the stockroom and have a look to see if they have your size there.

They will wrap your lingerie items in tissue and then it will be placed into an ann summers paper bag. They normally put a magazine in the bag as well which normally costs 50p!

They can also do giftwrapping and will wrap the lingerie in tissue and then put it in a box. They charge extra for this, but I'm unsure how much!

When at the till before paying I always get asked if I would like to save 25% by opening a store card with them. I always say no as I'm not a fan of strore cards!
