Argos is pretty unique within British shopping. Although they have stores all over the country their shop window if you will is their catalogue which contains a huge variety of items. They are basically a department store rolled in to a catalogue. It must be said that they are not exactly the cheapest company to buy from, but this is balanced out by the reliability they provide as you know exactly what you are going to get. For example a few months ago i needed to buy a set of step ladders for around the house, i knew i could go shopping around for them and try to save myself a few quid but i also knew that i could get a good product from argos that wouldn't break the bank. The service of ordering stuff in works well and you will only have to wait a few days for items. A good shop
